We will contact you by email or telephone to confirm your order. We aim to do this within 48 hours. Later confirmation times may apply for orders placed on Fridays or Saturdays, or during our holiday periods. In any case please contact us within 7 days of your original order if you have not received confirmation of the order. Please notify us within 2 days of receipt of confirmation about any errors in the order. We will contact you on receipt of payment and when the item has been dispatched.Post and package are charged separately according to the item or items being purchased. Post and Package prices will be provided upon enquiry or receipt of your order.
Our prices are reviewed periodically. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, once we accept your order, your price will not be increased unless there are changes to your order.We prefer to accept UK cheques or postal orders, made payable to Aisling Vorster and sent to: Castles and Clowns, 17 Priory Road, Linlithgow, EH49 6BP. If you bank online or by phone, you can transfer payment directly into our bank account. Bank details for payment by bank transfer can be provided upon request and upon receipt of an accepted order.
We can also accept secure online payment via PayPalYou can find Paypal at www.paypal.com. All you need to do is sign up with them, giving your name, email address and credit card details (click this link: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_registration-run to do so).
After you have signed up, go to the "Send Money" tab, and enter the email address of the person to whom you are sending the payment (enter), plus the amount of the payment.Post and package are charged separately according to the item or items being purchased. Post and Package prices will be provided upon enquiry or receipt of your order. All items are posted First Class Royal Mail. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for items lost or delivered late by the Royal Mail. You may upgrade your delivery to Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery as required, to ensure safe and speedy delivery. This will incur additional charges, available on request.
Dispatch will be made as soon as possible and will aim to be within 28 days of your confirmed order. However, as all items are individually made, orders may take longer to fulfill at certain times. We will contact you to inform you of our dispatch date. If you do not receive your order within 28 days of the dispatch date we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email at info@castlesandclowns.co.uk of the problem within 40 days of the dispatch date.If you have any special requirements for delivery, such as an urgent order, we will aim to meet your needs where possible. Please inform us of any special requirements with your order.
All canvasses are coated with a matt varnish to protect them. It is recommended that they are not stored in direct sunlight as fading may occur. Periodic dusting is recommended using a dry micro-fibre or lint-free cloth. Wet cleaning is not recommended. However, as our products are primarily for children, it is understood that splashes may occur. As such, we would suggest wiping with a slightly damp (not wet) cloth to remove any splashes or spills. In most cases this would be most effective immediately following the spillage. Please note, that we cannot be held responsible to any damage to the product as a result of spills, splashes or other such damage, or from any attempts to rectify it.
We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen parcels and strongly recommend that you obtain suitable proof of posting when returning goods. These terms & conditions are in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, which remain unaffected.
We, any other party (whether or not involved in creating, producing, maintaining or delivering this Website), and any of our group companies and the officers, directors, employees, shareholders or agents of any of them, exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise) in connection with this Website in any way or in connection with the use, inability to use or the results of use of this Website, any websites linked to this Website or the material on such websites, including but not limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing this Website or your downloading of any material from this Website or any websites linked to this Website.
